Rosen participated in the PIF hacker camp in the Soča valley of Slovenia, doing mate experiments and, basically, mountain geeking for a week.
PIFcamp is a 7-day hacker-base set in Slovenian nature, where art, technology and knowledge meet. The participants of the camp take the leading part in holding workshops, practical field trips, theoretical lectures and on-sight briefings and actively participate in the development of various DIY projects, while collaborating together in a creative working environment. In DIY, DIWO and DITO manner! In addition, all the projects are thoroughly documented and published online.
Together with renowned local fermenter Dario Cortese, Kapelica gallery geek Kristijan and several of the participants at PIF, we tried various experiments with fermented mate soda. Follow our experiments here or check out the recipes on our GitHub.
